Vietnamese Beef Loc Lac

INGREDIENTS

For Marinate Beef

  • 1.15Ib rib-eye steak

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tsp fish sauce

  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or white sugar

  • 1 tsp cornstarch or all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp cooking oil

For Cooking

  • 1 tbsp of cooking oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 3 green onions, cut halves lengthwise

  • 1 shallot, sliced

  • 4 cloves minced garlic

For Dipping Sauce

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp black pepper

  • 2 lime (juice)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp white or brown sugar

For Garnish

  • 4 tomatoes, thin sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cut the steak in 1 inch cube sides and marinated the beef for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Prepare the dipping sauce in a small little bowl. Mixed the sauce well.

  • In a hot wok or pan, add cooking oil and then the marinated beef. Cook and stir for 3 to 5 minutes.

  • Add butter, minced garlic, onion, green onions and shallot. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Put the thin tomato slices on a plate, and pour the beef lok lak over the tomato slices.

  • Finally, serve with white rice and dipping sauce.
