Udon Noodles & Minced Pork Stir-Fry

INGREDIENTS

  • 7 oz (200g) Fresh Udon Noodles

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1/2 cup minced pork

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 2 cups chopped Chinese broccoli

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1.5 tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp Korean Gochugaru

  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts

For Garnishing

  • Toasted sesame seeds

  • Chopped green onions

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a pot of boiling water, add udon noodles and cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute to separate the noodles apart from each other.

  • Take the noodle out to rinse them off with cold water and drain. Then drizzle 1 tbsp of sesame oil over the udon noodles and mix. Set aside.

  • In a hot wok, add 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Then add minced garlic and chopped green onions. Stir for 30 to 40 seconds.

  • Next, add the minced pork and cook for about 3 minutes until no juice from the minced pork.

  • Add the chopped Chinese broccoli and stir with the minced pork for 30 seconds.

  • Add the udon noodles and quickly add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and Korean Gochugaru. Toss and stir for about 1 minute.

  • Add fresh bean sprouts and stir for another 1 minute.

  • Finally, transfer to a bowl and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
